New here to all things programming and looking to use these products and packages to make an online rpg game, first i need to know if this is possible as mostly im seeing all FPS games which is not the format im looking for and also which packs (if i can do this) i would need.

thanks for any help.

p.s. any books or tutorials that i should know of to help get started would be great.

Almost anything is possible, but almost nothing is easy . Look at the top of this board for the thread that says "Tutorials for Newcomers", and you'll find a bunch of links . Be aware that an online RPG (ie: MMORPG/MORPG) is one of the hardest kinds of games to make, and be ready to devote a lot of time and effort to create that dream game of yours .
