Ok, I usually don't recommend software to people unless they ask for it not caring how well it works, or if IT WORKS. Well, I had an external hard drive that worked fine until one day I unplugged it without letting windows know. Well, after that, I've had sector after sector go bad. I also kept getting errors about "Windows Delayed Write Failed". So, today I decided to check for some Sector repair programs. Well, I stumbled across this GREAT program.

It not only repairs sectors, but it keeps you files too. Well, I didn't care, I only used my external HDD for backups. So I plugged in my HDD, and went straight to the app, (I didn't want to get it all fussy with the write errors and reading errors and stuff). So, I let it to its thing after choosing a few straight forward steps. wow, there were like 3,2033 bad sectors (estimation). So, I restarted my PC, and BAM! no more bad sectors!

So, in conclusion, I really think this app helped me, so I wanted to share it with the community. Did I mention it's FREE!? I love that.

Edit: grr. I found out it only does a tiny bit of the drive as its only a trial version.... Well, it works really well, and if I weren't so cheap, I'd probable buy it. Well, in fact, I'm probably going to buy it. Unless some one knows of another free alternative.
