I found a 32" LCD TV for a good price, but I am a little concerned. It says it does not come with any kind of tuner for regular cable/bunny ears. What can I do to get a tuner?

Is there any kind of device that will plug into my a/v ports that will give me coaxial hookups?

I have tried searching electronics sites, but since I don't know exactly what I am searching for it comes up with no results.

Any help is appreciated.

if you have cable tv at your home, the cable box may or may not have outputs for s-video or composite-video, and audio. If thats the case then you'd run these connectors to the tv input. If the tv has no coax youre better off, its the least best of the connection types. If youre hoping to use the tv as a tuner as well then i dunno. common setup is:

---source----->[cable/Sat box(tuner/descrambler]----->TV

I don't use a cable box. I connect the source to my TV's and it works out no problem.

I was looking at something, but I don't know if it would work out. Here is a link and maybe you can give some advice.

I know coaxial is not a good choice, but I use the cheapest cable at home and antenna at school, so either way I am going to need the tuner.

Don't know how good this is or what input it takes, but it is a tuner.

I don't know about USA perspectives, so im talking from a UK point of view but... in most cases you can use your old VHS video player/recorder to bridge between a scart turner box and an av/s-vid input/output.
