My friend Chris gave it to me when I came back from Hawaii. I have to say, it was a very well directed movie. It got to its points well, and showed its opinions clearly, unlike a certain OTHER guys films...*cough* Michael Moore*cough*

If you are interested in this kind of thing, even if your not a conspiracy nut, I would recommend it. First movie I have found that actually swayed my opinion in the least!

If Rustler knows any other good movies like this, I would be interested in it. If we can please not make this super political discussing a bunch of arguments, that would be cool, just wanted to tell everyone this is the first well thought out movie of its kind =P (Even though quoting Orwell was kind...of bland. Ray Bradbury is a better author by far.)

Please just act like this is a normal movie discussion

Support Freedom by supporting fascism. For under hard conditions freedom prevails, while under stagnation, it crumbles to dust.

I watched it too, and most of his points were very well made. He certainly makes a very good point. I didn't quite agree with him on the electronic voting ballots, though. Very well documented, though.

Good performance is better than a good excuse.

"Freedom to Fascism" is a simplified version of the truth.

It mentions acts and describes the institutions destroying America without actually describing the perps.
For if they do, then the communication will be decried as anti-Semitic and would go in auto-shun.
That censorship system works well.

For some truth seekers, the truth is best absorbed in small doses to avoid mental breakdown (Cognitive dissonance).

In that spirit here is another film, not quite as well done as F2F, which is guilty of the same thing (letting the perps off without fingering them).

Texe Marr's Illuminati Mystery Babylon (2002)

They can't tell too much truth and expect to survive.

I'm unique, just like everybody else.

I only got 15 minutes into F2F before thinking "this is a load of tosh" and stopping. So I might be wrong, but I assume he's referring to how over-protective Jewish organisations are in the USA. I mean they accuse David Icke of being an anti-Semite for saying the world's run by lizard men, when it's clear he's just delusional.

All religious groups are over defensive (Harry Potter, Danish Cartoons etc.)

This is not Geek Culture though, so should go.

Whoa whoa just watched some of the video in CR's sig - what a load of crap!

"(in the run up to 7/7) National polls showed that [Labour] were sure to lose"

What are people thinking when they say stuff like that?
Just absolutely 100% utterly untrue in every way.

no political garbage thanks

cattle rustler was warned by me a long time ago about that kind of nonsense in his posts and no one has pulled him up for it.

this thread is clearly out of order.

take it up in msn or irc or some dark conspiracy corner but not in here thanks.
these rules are clearly laid out for all ( except for the new york bovine wrangler )

Since everyone decided to discuss me, I'll add my 2 cents...

you have no authority to "warn" me, or any other mod, of anything, you're not the "mods manager" or a "super mod", I thought this was made abundantly clear in the mod forum a while back.

Quote: "this thread is clearly out of order."

I have to agree. A film of any type is one thing, making a post to discuss it, especially films exposing the painful truths, who some may deem "political", is quite another. When I saw this thread title I was like ... , ...here we go.

Quote: "these rules are clearly laid out for all ( except for the new york bovine wrangler )"

Ha ha, don't make me laugh, thats a load of bs and you know it. Lets note that I didnt start this thread, nor did I have a chance to participate one way or the other by the time it was locked.

Also, just for the record, if someone decides to get all in a huff that I am posting here instead of in the mod forum, well too bad. Indi spoke here, and he got answered here.

no need to get defensive cattle, its clear your views dont match mine, and different views are healthy in certain ways.

No sweat off my back. It isnt my place to be "as you say" a super mod and i never realized i was coming across like that.

The rules are there for a reason and for all to follow and i like to have clear objectives when working with them set out for me. If you dont enforce the rules that we all abide by yet clearly break them, I do believe thats a hypocritical approach. Once again its not my problem, or my issue.

Clearly we have a gerrymander with some individuals and its not worth championing the bit when its not enforced at the highest level here, I dont worry about the doomsters anymore now i realize they are protagonists, anyway. The other users will make their own decisions about what they think regarding the rules being exploited, that respect and trust angle of enforcing clear rules flys in the face of respect for other members who watch you as an example post content not allowed by others in your signature

It would suck to live in your country with all the current warmongering and i guess its your only outlet to prevent yourself getting really angry about what the government there is doing, so on the flipside i can understand and sympathize to some extent why you vehemently need to express that material, however not here thanks.

And since this is just one opinion from one user, it shouldnt mean much to you or to take it too personally, however i do protest still regarding political doomster content in your signature post, yet i dont really care what happens as much as i used to, there is no point when the apple is rotten to the core and nothing is done about it. no sweat off my back.

Actually now that we're on the topic, I agree with indi here about the sig space. Naturally one should not be able to post white supremacist links in one's sig, right? Your sig has caused users to post about it (not knowing the rules on the topic), resulting in flames and locked threads. I'm not blaming you for instigating these things, but it's not helping.

And I'm only posting this here so everyone can see that this isn't just a beef between CR & indi, but it's been an active discussion between all of the mods at one point or another.
