Can dbp run on a mac? Will the DBP compiled .exe files run on a mac? Is this possible?

Mac OSX has no real method to run DirectX even emulated or virtualised.
You can have windows emulated but DirectX falls down.

Apple Machines with Intel CPUS can be used to run Windows using bootcamp as a boot loader for Windows Variants and OSX.

No, thats not possible. No DirectX = no Dark Basic.

You can of course devide up the harddrive to both mac osx and windows xp, but I don't know how to do this or if it solves the problem. And even if it did, it would require that you used windows to run the progam... I think.

thats correct mr X, and the program you require to do so is called bootcamp.

It also only works on intel based cpu macs not powerpc.

you also require a full windows disc to install windows onto the hard drive in a partition just like linux and windows on the same drive.

boot one OS at a time. you will be running windows anyway on a mac intel machine.

As it stands there is no direct X method for inside OSX and i wouldnt be placing bets that darwine will ever pull itself up to direct x 9.0c anytime soon

My friend got windows on a his Mac and managed to play oblivion so yeah you should be able to use DBPro. Although I think the ATI and NVidia drivers don't really work, I'm not sure.

Thanks for the responses. I guess I don't really care that much. My brother is a Mac freak, and I just wanted to send him stuff I've been doing. Screen shots will have to suffice
