Okey first of all i am sorry for posting this
but because this is my first character and i think he is funny..
I just want him in my game....
But that isnt possible because he comes all spikey and is floating in FPSC...

Well i call him meat-man (because he looks like meat)
he is made in 3dsmaxx,
And exported with pandatool,
In 3dsmaxx his animations just works fine!
All the vertex are on the right place but when i put him in
FPSC like title says he becomes all spikey...

So if anyone could help it would be highly appreciated!

Here are a few pictures of him in 3dsmaxx

I actually think that's pretty cool you know! If you export it into OBJ format I'll get it into FPSC for you.

If I may make a suggestion? Perhaps smooth off the arm and leg stumps, so it looks like he had hands, but they've been cut off, rather than looking like you haven't bothered to model them... and final suggestion is, why not stick a big fat nasty mouth in the middle of his dome piece? That would look propper freaky. Anyway, I love the way that's coming along, and would be very appreciative of getting to play with it.

Butter Fingers
I have exported them into OBJ i dont know if i did it with the right settings but okey...
And the mouth idea thats just perfect!!!
I'll work on the mouth and the stumps right away.
But since this is my first character model and i have followed a little tutorial...
His legs and arms are all cylinders and they arent attached to each other so maybe thats the problem i dont know...
But i am serious thanks for helping with the character.

Here is the OBJ

Oh yeah and if it succeeds could you let me know how you did it?

Your problem is you haven't attached and welded the vertices in the model, this can work fine if you attach each part to individual bones but if your using physique the mesh will export better if it's a single object.
best rolfy.
BTW the obj model will be one complete mesh this happens by default to models exported with this format,so Butters should have no problems rigging it.
One side effect of obj tho' is that it reduces the scale of the model when importing into Max making it so small it wont be seen,it will appear to be o.k. in Max because you will be zoomed right in on it,this is why it cant be seen in game.

Sorry for posting so late.

@m man
Yep.

@AlanC
Thank you that you liked it.

@rolfy
Yeah those vertices are really hard to do i'll try my best to do them all.

Sorry for asking but is it possible to attach one cylinder to another? (I am new with characters)

But when it is an obj format and it is so small i think it is possible to scale them in the FPE file or such...
But i honestly dont know i'll try it out.

Thank you for helping me.

Cause it would be great to see a custom character of my own working.

okey its been a long time and i have been working on some models now..
And also on my character...

Well it worked.
But see how it reacts ingame.

It is animated and it can walk and such...
It even can fall when you shoot it with a mossberg!

But it always faces the other direction so it cant look at you.

And when you shoot it it doesnt shoot back...

I had some tests one on the video with a follow script.

And others that he is just standing still.

None of them works...

Well here is the video

Why is he moonwalking?

He's like the Michael Jackson of lava monsters.

Yeah he is.
But i really dont know why he is walking like that.

Well i think that Michael Jackson in a game would be a great horror.

Okey well it didn't work.

I even changed the skeleton to fit in perfectly...
And edited the vertex a little.

It looked even better than the first one (Its animations)

But when i put it ingame it still just stands there...

Not holding the gun correct...
sometimes get stuck in the floor...
When i put his AI to static he just stands more agressive
still he doesnt shoot...

So i thougt hey maybe it is FPSC
cause lately i only made a few maps but never putted an enemy in it.

Well i did but they work fine...

If anyone can help... please pimp my character...
