I have written a 3d program and just addded my charactor created using Charactor Shop, When before everything ran fine, Now the new charactor don't appear.
The charactor before used, was a .3ds and now is .x

Its really confusing because it loads,
and i added a loop to see for myself it has loaded.
But then when I load other bits like guns and ammo ect the charactor is not there.
its not there, as in if view'd with bounds its a tiny ball,
Even though seconds before, it was a person like intended.??

Does any one know where I can get a .x covertion prog to .3ds Free!

Is this where all other bits are .3ds and my charactor is .x?

You don't need one. I'm no expert with DBP, but I'm pretty sure that .3DS files are no longer supported. You need to use .X or DBO files.

(I'm sure a DBP expert will correct me on this if I'm wrong).

If .X files are not appearing, it might be a scale problem - objects may be far too small, or so big the camera is inside them making it look like they are not there. Try using the Scale Object command.

Not sure what you mean here. Have you tried using AutoCam Off?
