And why?

I'll offer some options (all of which make me gaze dreamily into the distance):-

1. The next ZELDA
2. The next big macho "gears of war" or PC FPS type game using a big macho engine like Unreal3
3. A Wii game directed towards a larger audience, say women for example?
4. A Pokemon MMORPG on Wii (a real WOW killer if ever there was one)
5. Animal City (a sequel to Animal Crossing but based in much large townscape - each neighbourhood merges into someone elses in online play)
6. Half Life 3 (not a HL2 episode)
7. Final Fantasy 13 for PS3
8. A sequel to shadow of the colossus for PS3
9. MGS5 - with an online battlefield mode with designable characters
10. A new mario game on any ninty platform
11. An EA sequel
12. Something else

I'd make Bar Fight, a game I had planned since the 8th grade. Style of gameplay is sort of a cross between Kingpin and Tekken.

Zelda Sequel and a fighting game - NamcoVsCapcomVsSega

The Zelda game would be like Shadow of the Collosus and Twilight Princess melded together.

It would be cool if someone made a game of the actual world topography.
That way you could have a fantasy realm or futuristic realm or WWII etc. on our actual planet.
I guess thats quite a way off yet in regards to the data that would take to make it happen, however it would be very cool.

I don't see why that's not possible now. I think its 'usgs' data maps that holds all kinds of info that could be used for a quite realistic game.

Getting a 3d overhead map of your home town and then turn it to grey scale so you can heightmap it in a 3d or isometric game is easy, but thats the only easy part.

If Indi was talking about having cities copied building for building that yea that'd be quite difficult, but neat.

It's my dream to work for a Pokemon game, even as a translator for a language I don't know (no, not English, Japanese is what I don't know). If I were to work I'd like to be head of TPC (the Pokemon Company) working on a Pokemon MMORPG where you get put any of your Pokemon from any platform GBA+ in 3D enviornments.

@ Indi - well I'd imagine that you would use google earth and MS earth data and somehow overlay the game.

http://www.gearthblog.com/blog/archives/2007/02/virtual_earth_3d_bui.html

Although I can't really see how it would be a "game" - at least, one with a point. It would make a great chatroom and virtual shopping area though.

I'd make an epic RPG that explores darkness and evil and the hypocrisy that allows us to look the other way. I'd call it... hmmm... maybe Geisha House.

[Edit]
Okay, I started the game. I changed my signature image.

[Edit2]
Okay, I finally got a Youtube video made,

[Edit3]
Yeah! I got a publisher for the game!!!

Come see the WIP!

^^^

Captain Obvious is in the house!

I would like to work on Half-Life 3 as well. Or Halo 3. Come to think of it, anything that starts with H and ends with 3.

That is a joke right? Which specific title?

Oooh good call. Actually I would love to work on Black 2 (if they're making it), or the next Burnout game. Would have to relocate to the UK for that, though

I like a game with substance.

Completely agree with that - the next 3d Zelda must do something new - but continue to avoid TOO MUCH realism (eg: Link in TP carries all these big tools around - like the morning star, which impedes his movement when he's using it but he runs around normally when it's in his pocket.) I think it's things like this non-Zelda fans don't like. But , they should go back to watching films where everything is "completely real".

I would restart work on my dream project... Although unfortunately my dream project's enemy happens to be Bill Gates and the evil empire of Microsoft! So I could never sell it and probably would get a cease and desist... Oh, and of course it would only run on Windows just for the comedy factor.

link to the old project that has been canceled in that engine.

Google "Pokemon MMORPG" - there's already a petition for it!

@Dinkapoo - Do it! don't worry about cease and desist orders - the people at MS have a sense of humour! Just don't use their logos.

just a wild dream, but maybe someday, a freelance action rpg, with interesting unique setting (already thought of it)big world,...

basically something like morrowind or oblivion only in my own setting and a storyline that will shake the world of gaming forever. so it will be like the FF7 of its day.

just a stupid dream of course, but its fun thinking of it, drawing concept art, making up the history, designing the world all the fun stuff.

dont hate people who rip you off, cheat and get away with it, learn from them
