I've been playing the CNC 3 demo since yesterday and I'm not overly impressed. I prefer the clarity of the units and landscape in Generals and they have some horrible shadow effect going on in CNC 3, probably a shader effect that just doesn't look as good as the shadows in Generals. For now I think I will save my money and just continue to play Generals ZH.

I watched my friend play it on his computer, he played it for an entire night. I thought it looked sweet...but I didn't get a real discerning look at it. I did love the orbital ion cannon effect, that was pretty awesome. Kills your own units though...

The demo is...amazing. It runs excellent on vista, while I am still having issues with a few games (KOTOR, Civ, Gal Civ, ect), but maybe I will finally have a good game to play on vista =D
