Well I am just learning this whole scripting thing and the FPI Maker and BULLSHOCK's guide helped me a lot. I am using the game manual with its list of conditions and actions but I cannot find anything to change the target which the AI entity shoots at. Is that even possible?

Search for Sensei. Sensei AI has limitations without empty's mod, but works somewhat with the latest update.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

I can't wait until they get the final update for FPSC done and release the source code.
Then we can do all sorts of crazy things to it!

Im playing with the souce at the moment. In all honesty the new update isn't great. Yay we have sexy shadows, but still limited to omnidirectional lights, broken editor, limited light selection, bugged MP, stupid changes to gunspecs, only partially fixed dual wield... basically I'm fed up. I kinda figure I can live without the light mapping, and do my own source edit. I kinda figure I value gameplay over shadows and therefore am gonna focus on adding all the FPI command I want to the source... then killing myself because I'll have added 10000000 new bugs.

You might as well add the bugs. That will save Lee the trouble of doing it
Seriously, though, you did a good job of dual-wielding weapons before the update.
And I would like to have to things myself...
Vehicles...JUST KIDDING! had to say it...
But more than one firing animation for a weapon.
It is Frist Person Shooter Creator.having to switch between two weapons for two types of fire in a shooter doesn't work.
Having alternate fire or a weapon melee attack if the weapon is empty makes more sense.
The other thing i want (and the first thing I am going to do when I rip on the source code) is find out why the plrdropweapon command doesn't work.
Now you got me wanting to destroy the source code.
But first I am going to look at the setup.ini file and the source code and try to see about some lighting and if I can figure out what all of those commands in the setup file do.
Say goodbye to sleep...
