Well I searched for this and apparently found an answer but I still need some help...

I was trying to get a car model to move, so I went into its .fpe and added
;identity details
ischaracter = 1

That way, the script gives it enemy properties and allows it to move. Now the problems start. The car follows the waypoint, but half of it is under ground...

I thought it was my model first, so I tried the same thing with some desk form the default library, and it also moves but with half of it underground...

What can I do?

I'm not sure but, here's something you can try.

Try changing the "offy=" value in the FPE.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

Thats what I've been doing and I've been getting this whole problem.

I'm guessing that should work but another thing, apparently because of my model, when it follows the waypoint, it is moving sideways and not straight like a normal car... what about that?

When you import it; the front of the car has to be facing forward. You imported it with the front facing either left or right.

Use appearnogravity.fpi instead. Then move the car up with the page up or downkeys, so that it is only just (about a milimetre) off the ground.

There you go, a working vehicle moving along a path
Good luck with whatever you are using it for
