Ok I've got a train into FPSC and tracks, I can also get into the train...

Now I want it to move from a starting point go to a platform, stop there for 2 minutes then go back along the route it came wait two miutes then set off again on its journey.

How do I do it and what scripts to use in the changing how the entity behaves (see screenshot). Cheers for any help.

When you import it, make it a character. Then The follow will work if you use appear no gravity.

As for the 2 minute delay; you would have to script that in. Open follow.fpi and edit it to fit in your time delay.

Yay I got FF XII, and it totally rocks! Love the new battle system

I've been working on a similar situation....having a minecar move along its tracks.
1. make the train/mine car a character if it isn't one already, dynamic
2. give it the "follow" script and a path to follow
3. make sure when you place it on the tracks that it is actually a bit ABOVE the tracks else it gets stuck in ground collision and won't go anywhere

I don't know what that guy was talking about with the "appear no gravity" haven't tried that

the 2 minute delay is out of my limited realm. I guess...if its a character you could kill him off at the end of his route. I.e. putting a brick in his path with its damage value cranked up. I found this out my accident when I wanted a strong brick I could throw to kill an enemy. Turns out if he just walks up to said brick and stubs his toe on it he dies. anyway..that could kill the arriving train with a "destroy leave corpse" and then a respawn with a 2 minute delay. problem is you'll respawn back at the spot your train was created so you'd need to make this station your initial spawn having waypoints to loop around to the spot where you caught the train....hmmm how to stop the train there? I don't know just thinking aloud. similar method is what i used to keep a steady flow of carts flowing along my mine ride

puppet I'll give this a try but I found that since I updated to the latest FPSC patch that pressing ENTER or PAGE DOWN nolonger allows me to position the trains properly, instead they are about a foot in the air, have you experienced this?
