I'm not new to programming in DarkBASIC, but all my projects have been on a very small scale, such as creating replica menus of Operation Flashpoint, and such things, but i am now going to try a "big" project.

What i am trying to achieve at the end is an online version of Grand Theft Auto, same sort of concept, but with a very much diffrent gameplay. I have the ideas, and what i want the overall outcome of the game to be, just don't know how to start.

Such things that puzzle me is how to build the landscape, where or how to build the models etc, so if any of you guys would lend us a few words on how you would do it, or what programs you use to do certain things, it would be appreciated, i would put on here my old work, but its gone missing!

Think of a main story. You have idea's. Write them down. Draw some scetches for the cars.

Then if you can make some good 3d you could download a program to try. But those programs sometimes cost many many money. (There are some free thought). If you can't make 3d you could request a 3d modeler in the tea Request forum. The landscape. You could use matedit.

Only heroes live forever.
