the grunge crates is all texture work so it gives them a nice low polycount.

i use a old sony mvc fd 200 to take my pic.i do use lots of pic from http://www.environment-textures.com/index.php.

i think its the best place for Environment Textures out there.and anything i google that i use for textures i make sure its 100% Royalty Free.
i am most proud of the milk crates they are 100% made in paint shop pro .my goal is to not have to rely so much on the textures from web sites or cd,and make everything 100 % mine.ive been 3d modeling for some time now and have just started to give out some of my work i think people can use i did not give out a lot of
my work before because i felt the standards were not up to par and still had a lot to learn. i was one of the first people to have a animated characters in fpschttp://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=49147&b=24.and am not a fan of people that rip media as you can see http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=69874&b=24.
i am a big fan of ben mathis work and tips on stuff.
http://www.poopinmymouth.com/
his tip about grunge is one of the best http://www.poopinmymouth.com/process/tips/dirt.jpg
and http://boards.polycount.net/ubbthreads.php?Cat=0 is a nice place to hang out lots of nice tips.
and attach is the LICENSE for environment textures if people wanted to know more on it.

Yeah, the milk crates are the best and if you're doing the textures by hand then that's great.

Sorry to hear about the molding problem... maybe something to do with the weather. Hope you feel better soon.

Best.

Thanks a million for these great looking objects. I am working on a game that is actually a trilogy (3 games in one) and each one having several levels. The last segment of the trilogy of course will be more intense and the hardest. The first two lead up to the last as far as the story goes. Anyway, I needed some urban stuff in the first segment and this will add greatly to that. This will be a free game and because of the subject matter probably won't interest a whole lot a folk here.

As opposed to Highlander.
