Recently I recieved an aim message from one 'iEatFishyz' asking for help relating to things like 'how do I make uber mmo's' and 'what is the best program to use'. Fair enough, simple noob questions. At first he seemed normal so I proceded for about a half an hour to give him advice which he payed no attention to and simply whined and cried about having a.d.d. or something or other. He also threw in some gender and racial slurs. Finally I wished him luck, said goodbye, and blocked him. Seconds later he came on another account and started cursing me out. I continued to block these accounts as he threw many more insults at me.

I will not mention his forum name, only that he is a fairly new member. I just want to warn you all that the following names may be inappropriate to speak with through aim, especially if you are a younger member of this community.

Sn's:
iEatFishyz
GmXagel
ninjaxhayato
phaelax (Note: for the sake of not wanting to slander the real phaelax, this person is apparently able to steal peoples' aim screen-names)
TheOrichalcos752
xXSpiRitChromExX

I apologize to everyone if this is against any rules, but be careful of people like this. I honestly don't know what their intentions are to harass someone who tries to help...

In this case you should just say something that will really annoy them, and then block them. When they add you again, say the same thing. Over and over and over and over..

It won't necessarily make them leave you alone but it'll make you feel better.

But what's weird is, I could swear I recognized some name similar to phaelax on my buddy list long before the member I'm thinking of even joined and started this conversation with me. Makes me wonder perhaps if someone is playing a joke

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong, it was entertaining and fun to keep blocking someone getting more and more mad. But I wouldn't want someone like, say... my little cousin reading the things this dude was typing.

[EDIT] Ah, so I took a look at a post phaelax made about this exact same person and now realise something interesting. Apparently this person uses some illegal program to use a bunch of different names as his aim sn.

just copy and paste "spamspam" as many times into your comment box and spam their inbox, if aim has an inbox that is.

Yea I can assure you that isn't really me. I still have my aim log from the conversation with him.

I guess there's a program call "aim Sniff" which is a packet sniffer and allows you to clone people by spoofing dns packets through some linux script. At least that's what someone else guessed when I explained the situation.

What does DNS have to do with it?

I'm just quoting what another guy told me.

When this waste of space person messaged me, first thing he asked me was if I was "the crazy" on the forum. So I guess you were initially his first target.

Yes, well for people who put there AIM MSN ICQ on any forums are asking for trouble from noobs. So my suggestion is leave only your e-mail addy at the bottom of your post (where those little buttons are) take your AIM MSN ICQ off that might help a little.

I doubt an AOL update would do anything, he talked to me on Aim Lite, iChat, and AdiumX.

Rofl, time for a new screen name then. We need to find out who this person is and then *DONT* break into his computer and *DONT* delete windows....What I said don't....

Maybe you should ask to meet in a dark park.
That way when you go take a nice big gun with you! And don't forget to load it with cheese. Cheese always scares noobs!

Darth: Thanks, I'll keep your advice in mind

Cash: Yup, that'd be him

[EDIT] Well, my mom just informed me (scolded me for that matter) that this 'ieatfishyz' was cursing her out while I was at my college class. Aol is not responding to my emails and I am apparently undable to block him. Bat, I'll be taking your advice and e-mail a mod. This is really getting ridiculous.

Has he been trying to talk to you on this site? If not, there's no much the mods can do except noob slap/ban him. But that won't stop him on AOL.

I just realized I posted in one of his threads. He actually sounds somewhat serious about learning how to make a video game, so I wonder why he'd annoy another forum member to the point that there's an anti iEatFishyz/Chakra thread. Not going to get much help in the future, is he?

AOL sucks any way, the support staff are never based in the country you are in, but in India.

The funny thing is, when I contacted AOL support a while back, when I had to use it as my ISP, the support guys spelling and grammar was awful, it was like reading a a story written by a 12 year old dyslexic pain in the arse.

@Higgins: I'm dyslexic, you know how hard it is sometimes? Please don't insult unless you actually know what a person is going through (If you've ever chatted with me online, this is why I take so long to type messages)

My friend was chatting on AOL using one of my computers yesterday and she got some random guy messaging her. I responded for her and here's how the conversation went:

Him: asl
Us: 43 male Missouri
Us: hey, are you from the mission too?
Him: what's the mission?
Us: like church missionaries
Him: <user has signed off>

Well, I was amused.
