Looks good. I downloaded it, but when i tried to run the .exe, i got the error message (which i was unable to cut and paste)

Lionheart Remake.exe -Unable To Locate Component

This application has failed to start because d3dx9_32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Try the following:
1. download the dll here: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/download.php?d3dx9_32download0UJfUFVHiS
2. place it in your windows/system folder.
should work out that way.

Bam with the lyrics!!
(jack black style rock singing)

in the ancient times
there was a man!
and lionheart was his name!

Flying across the land
Sword in hand
On a dragon of pain!

He'll kick some A**
Tame a wild lass
To bring him fortune and faaaaaaaaaaaaaame!

Oh LIONHEAAARRRRRT
LIONHEAARRRRRT
Axe Wielding barbarian rage!!!
oh LIONHEAAAAARRRRT
LIONHEAAARRRRT
MASTER OF HIS AAAAAAGE!!!!!

that's all i got so far, the oh lionheart bit is the chorus.

This is the global progress ( 31/03/07 )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5YEi0dx9Q0

It shows:
- A little script for monster, moving.
- Interaction with terrain ( slopes, descent, rise, liana, ... ) by changing player's speed.
- Jump can be adjusted, by keeping "jumpkey" pushed.
- Player attacking ( with sound ).
- Player's death, falling in water.
- Full background, with Sky and Clouds moving.

Nice!

I have two suggestions:

*Make the clouds a little slower. They're too fast. I got an FPS of 62, btw.
*Make the jump smoother. Like, gradually lower the amount that you are increasing the y position of the player by, so the movement of the player will be like an arc, instead of a peak.

Good job!

If I didn't know any better, based on the video I'd say it was the real game (only the jumping could be smoother, as UFO mentioned). Good work

Sweet mercy, nicely done! Reminds me of my old SNES days . Downloading now!

Plays well too! The few suggestions I have are not having the program end when you lose all your lives, just have it go to the main menu. You made it look so easy jumping on those vine platforms (I lost three lives doing it!!!)

Funny thing for people to look for, under options, the hardest setting isn't hard, it's Lionhard.
