In a world of murder, there are those who save lives, and those who take them. Welcome to Murder World. This place beckons to the tough, the corrupt, the brokenhearted. Some call it dark. Hard-boiled. Then there are those who call it home. Crooked cops. Sexy girls. Desperate vigilantes. Some are seeking revenge. Others lust after redemption. And then there are those hoping for a little of both. A universe of unlikely and reluctant heroes still trying to do the right thing in a city that refuses to care.

In Murder World you play as multiple characters (short stories) that will – eventually- tie together in the end. In the demo you play as Logan, an honest man who doesn’t receive the respect he deserves. When one man has been pushed beyond his limits, how far will he go to push back?

First, I would like to say my forum name was once Poopster Brown, and I would like to thank those who helped me with all the issues I came across so far. For some reason my name got changed to JavaDrinker, which I can’t change back. I really am more creative than “JavaDrinker”.

Anyway, I put a lot of time into looking over the forums, deciding if my game would blend in. I played a lot of games on here that I felt embarrassed for the creator. It seems to me that most of you strive to make a game that truly stands out and make’s a name for itself; and some of you have. Most notably so far I was really impressed with “Darkest Island”.

As for my game, I strived to make the first comical FPS. So far I haven’t really seen anything else quit like mine. If you’re looking for something new to try I think this might be it. It has video, voices, and music. If you’re not to sure about it you can watch the trailer first. If you have any comments about it (negative or bad) I’m listening with an open mind, and appreciate your time for checking it out. After all, I’m surprised you’re still reading.

The trailer, demo, and more screen shots can be downloaded at MurderWorld.7p6.net

The trailer wouldn't download, I'll try again soon. I like the premise of your game and would like to see it seen through to the end.

I know I keep changing my signature, so what?

On the trailer page you can either download it (which on occasion works) or you can stream it on YouTube, which the link is on the same page. Hope that helps!

350MB?
I'll wait and see what others say about it first...
From the pics I can see that you have some long hallways and I would either toss some more stuff in that bathroom or make it smaller.
If some people give the demo good reviews I might download it but that is an awfully big file size for a demo.

Not to much you can toss into a public restroom, and the hallway pic is the hallway of an apartment complex. The room is detailed, and there are more screenshots on the website if you’d like to see them.
I would also like to point out the trailer. If you watch that and still have no further interest, then I probably wouldn’t suggest trying it out. If you watch it and share the same type of humor (and see how detailed the rest of the game is) then perhaps it wouldn’t be such a loss to try it out.
Though, if it does get a good review, and you still don’t care for it, I have included an uninstall file with the demo. This is only a demo, and I’m posting it for suggestions on what people liked and disliked about it.
The only thing I’m expecting to hear is how easy the AI was. Unlike the final version, I made the demo easy enough to where any skilled player could get a good idea at what the rest of the game’s content would be like. The members from this forum aren’t the only ones playing it; however, it is your comments that I will modify my game around. So please, do post!

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it was too big

Inspire, I'm gonna chance my avatar soon, so don't worry

Okay, on topic

It is some big levels, it takes a lot time to load, you might chance the levels sizes though..
I don't want to wait 20 min. to play a level

It looks a little to big on the screenshots...I wish that was my bathroom...wow...and that that was my hallway...then my house would be as big(ger?) then the white house

Anyway,i think it looks terrible due the level of ambience AND due the size of the room.
