Hi everyone.

Peter Wilson, who played the part of Peter in Milk Paton, died yesterday in a Norway of hypothermia, aged 18. It's been on BBC news a bit today.

He was a very good friend and he will be sorely missed.

I thought this was relevant to people here who watched Milk Paton.

RIP Peter Wilson

My condolences to you, and anyone else here who knew him. 18 is far too young an age to die.

Sad for anyone to die so early.

They were talking to Channel 4 about remaking Milk Paton on TV they could have been just about to make the big time.

Very sad man. I'll have to watch a few episodes to remind myself of who he was. Either way, sad stuff.

What a terrible thing. I made a thread about it, but decided it would best wait for someone that knew him to post it.

Noob question here: Whats Milk Paton? And how does someone who's well known (I'm taking he made money off his work) die of the cold?

Sorry for your loss

Fame doesn't protect you from the elements Sid. It can happen to anyone, rich, poor, famous or friendless.

I'm really sorry to hear about this Drew. I've lost family, friends, and a girlfriend, and still I can't say I know what you're going through because everyone handles these things differently or takes condolence in different ways, but if you ever want to talk about it or anything with a neutral person (I know that helped me a lot when my girlfriend died), I'll be an e-mail away, and I'm sure others are as well

Rest in peace, Peter. You always gave Milk Paton a rush of excitement.

My sympathy goes to his family and friends. Through reading his myspace stuff, it seems like he was a neat guy.

I briefly read about this in The Mail earlier but it didn't actually click until I saw this post.

Thanks for letting us know, Drew.

Sorry to hear it man, that's dreadful news, all I can say is that I hope for the best, whether or not that's realistic, just as long as you're strong and think of him in the most positive ways and celebrate his life, I can see how being optimistic is helpful.

I hope I won't have to offer sympathy to anyone else this week, your news is the worst so far, but I've had one friend's boss die and a friend's grandfather fall critically ill, as she's a sensitive girl, she takes it quite hard.

I hope nobody else has to say goodbye to somebody.

Best wishes to you, your friends and family Drew. RIP Peter.

Hilarious online show Drew and his friends does, you should watch it, it can quite random and funny, it also rips other programs or movies, like the Paton Break series.

This is just too much. Very sad times, a week ago a classmate of mine died too by drowning. Just after her 21th birthday.

Thank you for your condolances everyone.

If anybody else has anything they'd like to say about Peter, regarding the show or in any other way please post them, his good nature went largely unrewarded and I think it'd be nice if he got the tributes he deserved.

For the record matey, I get the impression he was a bit of a petrol head like me. Probably would've gone on to spend all his money on stupidly fast cars, like me. Watched the chase to plodda falls last night and it was class. Gotta love that.

This sucks. People like him (especially that age) just dont seem to be the kind of people who die, and it always gives out such a huge shockwave when it happens. I can't imagine what his parents are going through right now. Give them my best wishes

I'm sorry to hear about this Drew. It must be upsetting to lose a good friend. To find out he worked for a diabetic company, I can only be greatful for his work as I am a diabetic. Its shocking to hear the news, even though I never knew him.

My sister is diabetic as well, so I'm sure the rest of my family appreciates what those 3 have done, even if their research or products never affected us, it's good to know there are people out there that are helping others.

"I like boobies too" I believe Peter said that. Right? Well, I think we should use a quote of his in everything we do to remember him. I'm deeply sorry about this loss.

Peter Wilson: Scotland's Best Driver.

Please take the original reports that they weren't prepared with more than a pinch of salt. The news is only just getting it's story straight.
