hi there
is it possible to add a function to the "flashlight" script so you can only use the light for e.g. 5 seconds and then you have to wait till you can use it again?
please post that script if it is possible

i´ve written "jhon" the wrong way on purpose

Jhon,

Greetings.

The current illusion of a flashlight uses a modified crosshair image, and has the flashlight itself set as a player weapon.

Since what is displayed and heard can be controlled, I believe that it should be possible to stretch the flashlight illusion a bit more, and make it appear that the light only works for a limited time, before recharging.

I'm pretty sure that by altering the ammo quantity, firing speed, and firing iterations, that something could be pulled off. Toggling the crosshair flashlight beam might be a tough obstacle to overcome.

Perhaps a spawnable ammo pickup that follows the player could provide the recharge feature.

My scripting knowledge is limited, and this is beyond my skill level in this area.

Thanks,

Seth Black
