Hi, sorry to bug people but I really don't know how to solve this problem on my own.

I'm running version 1.05 and I have a customized alternate texture for one of the stock switches. It works fine, it's lightmapping is good, but when I use it and it changes to the alternate texture, it becomes all dark, as if it were just using the regular ambience of the level rather then the lightmapping and it stays like that even when you use it again and change the texture back.

Do you need a special map done to the texture? Do the filnames have to be specific? I copied all of the files that used D2,D,S etc. A little help here would be great.
