Newcomers DBPro Corner / y-angle not graduating from 0 through to 360

hi everyone, im new to programming

im trying to return the y angle of an object but as it rotates past 90 degrees it starts getting smaller again and reaches zero at 180 degrees, only then to suddenly hit 360 degrees after 180 and decrease to 270 before incresing to 360 and reaching 0.

phew.

im sure this is most likely a common problem, so can anyone help me out?

What commands are you using to rotate the object?

These two methods return different results in angles but have the same effect.
