Thats right, the wee little n00blet that you knew from oh so long ago is growing up . Today my friend who's mom is the principal of the school I'm going to next year got me an interview for the computer department via the student employment program. If I make it (Which I'm sure I will, no one else went for the job yet) Ill be doing the usual help the teachers who have no idea how to work a computer, but this time with pay! I also might be taking over the web design as well. So heres to my first (potential) job.

thats great! you'll be REALLY busy though. Teachers as a rule, cannot ever get machinery working, be it computers, projectors, cameras, VHS players, or CD players

ha speaking of computer-illiterate teachers..

We had a substitute last year in a couple classes, he was SOOO annoying.
but besides that,
1) He tried turning on a tv using a calculator
2) He couldn't figure out how to rewind the dvd we were watching...
3) ...agh, something else I forgot..

Needless to say, he doesn't sub here anymore...

My friend does that for the highschool i went to, minus the web design....GOOD LUCK! Those jobs will lead to better jobs in the end.

HAHA, same here,

I'm the "IT" for my sea cadet group, as webpage designer. It look very nice, though I'm not posting it until I get out of high school and the program, since I don't want people to be exact on where I live.

I once worked for the highschool's computer department. If you only knew how often I had to pull all sorts of things out of the floppy drives in the lab. Another time, I had to install FrontPage on every machine, using only 2 CDs because for whatever reason they didn't want to do network installs. I think its the first time I ever memorized a seriel key from entering it in so many times.

Yep, it's a common misconception, but "substitute teacher" is actually an abbreviation for "substitute teacher with a complete retard" .. hence your predicament.
