Hi i'm sorry to keep asking so many questions but there are just certain ways i need to hear things. My question is setting up a camera behind the player and have it follow them. I didn't know if i should use wrapvalue# or not. If anyone could help me, i'd greatly appreciate it.

this will work. you may have to read up in db about the "set camera to follow" command, as it will explain all the numbers that follow it.

sonic91- here is an example from darkbasic, don't know if you have used it or not. But i cannot make sense of the command, and i was wondering if you could rexplain its application in a program? Only if you have time to, i don't want to take from your time to program.

thanks

sorry for doubleposting, i just wanted to explain another question i had. What i am attempting to do is a get a long path with a matrix and travel down it so that you can see the character.

Take a look here:

http://www.computechtenerife.com/db.htm

Click on the 'Code Hints' button and choose the camera control type from the menu at the bottom.

There are plenty of ways to set the camera behind the player, but I find that the less complicated is always the best. So, try this out.
