It has come to my attension that yet again, I need a team for Soharix.

But I cannot post this in the forums because I'm not allowed.

Does anyone have any idea where I could post a team request that wouldn't get flamed.

(Don't say GameDev; they are useless and are only for people who can actually afford to pay for their teams.)

Any help would be appreciated...

If you have screens a demo e.t.c i'm sure your allowed to ask if you ask a mod first and show them your progress, don't quote me on this though

I believe if you start a WIP thread and show considerable progress, you can ask on that same thread for help. If you start a thread purely for the purpose of requesting people, it'll get locked pretty much instantly.

So assuming I get a team organised properly and actually finish a product.

If I want to sell my product on TGC site, after it has been created, how would I do this? Where would I apply? And what is the likelyhood that I would be able to sell on this site?

Rick is the person to talk to. Generally though, TGC doesn't sell games. I guess there has been a couple of exceptions, but I wouldn't count on it.

Team requests never really work out. If you start a team request you are without meaning to saying "I can't complete this project on my on, please do it for me".

You have to be able to complete the project on your own and do 90% of the work. I have lots of people helping me with Geisha House, so it's definitely a team effort. However, I've kept the burden of the work with myself. I've also paid a lot of money for various things.

Because I can guarantee that I'll do the amount of work necessary for GH, I know that it will get done. If I were totally relying on another person for a major part of the work, I'd have no way to know how it would turn out. Unless of course I were me (which I suppose I am), then I'd know that such a setup would fail, and as such would never attempt to create such a doomed micro-organization.

Come see the WIP!

Thats why my team absolutely sucks.

And why as of today (23/03/2007) we went from 3 members to 2, because I was relying on the others in my 3-man team to do some of the work. When infact, they are there to make the team look better.

Well, I shall keep my last man, because he can be useful, but I shall continue to produce most of the work on my own.

Thank you again.
