Hi

not purchashed DB yet im just browsing i currently use Blitz3D

im just trying to see what DB can do, so does anybody have any demos or zip/exe they can show , something that uses shadows and any shaders that DB has

i like blitz but it doesnt have any fancy bits n pieces that a hobbyist likes

Try going to the nVidia competition section of the forum, it's a bit further down than the Newcomers corner. There are many games there that use shaders and quite a lot of them have very nice graphics, there are some good examples of what DB can do there

BTW, if you decide to buy then I reccomend that you get Dark Basic Pro (Not Dark Basic "Classic") as it is capable of much more, for a start it can be extended with useful plugins.
