I am delving into the world of Ogre, and I thought "well it might be nice to just have to use the Application setup for it", but my pc wont run Jscript as its own app, and I am confused on where to get Jscript (The read me says its a free dl from MS, but I cant find it ANYWHERE)...

I'm sure you'll find a free interpreter for it somewhere like gamedev.net or something. Otherwise there are plently of other good scripting languages. I hear AngelScript can use functions you make in C++.

hmm, ok. Its just confusing because the program that makes a basic Orge Wizard for VS.net says to download JScript from MS if you dont have it, but MS doesnt have it for download.

JScript should already be installed on your system if you have VS.NET installed.

I think you might need "Windows Scripting Host" (WSH)?

TGC cant really endorse contextual help for other game development languages.
the back to basics area on the ogre forums should be a good place to start however
