I just read the announcement about the brand new Jetpac release coming onto XBLA this Wednesday and it looks great!

That is one sweet looking remake
I remember the original, it was a massive hit, probably because of the different style of controlling the player. The only other one that I can think of like this control-wise was Lunar Lander, but it was a completely different game-style.

The remake visuals look a bit predictable :/ - but I think it'll be worth grabbing it for the retro flavour anyway, Jetpac's still pretty tricky to get hold of on emu's (or I'd have it on my DS already!).

I'm looking forward to Space Giraffe though, the idea of having chillout levels is just genius IMO.

It's 400 points, well well worth it. I played the original on some website (apparently a good emulated version), and found it addicting and hard. Well worth the price
