I'm not in any way releated to the company, so i would honestly like to recommend this free online war game to everyone.

It's got amazing graphics but still has support for lower spec machines. I had it running smooth at 1024 x 768 on a 1.2Ghz Celeron + Nvidia 6200 and a 1.7Ghz Celeron + Nvidia 5200 !!

Drive tanks, fly helecopters or just run around killing as a soldier in FPS style.

Highly recommended, see you on the battle field when your not coding!

[Some confusing bits you might run into]
CONTROLS
WASD + mouse, 1234 to change weapon, Enter/Return to start chat (if you can't move you're probably in chat just press Enter/Return again) Double hit W to run, C to croutch/duck, double C to lie on the floor, Space to stand up/jump. Right mouse buttin to zoom scope (if your gun has it)

WAITING LOBBY
If your game hasn't aready started you need to click "Ready" or you will be kicked when it starts.

IN GAME KICKS
Your team can kick you out of a game if you act stupid. I didn't realise that in the Close Combat version, if you set the timer bomb your team expects you to stay and defend it to stop your enemy defusing it and thus losing the round.

i tried to play this a while back (like a year ago) but my router stops me from connecting. theres another game like it (or what looks like it) on ijji.com, but everything on ijji is in beta so it probably won't be as spectacular as Warrock, its called soldier front and is appparently rather good, i haven't had time to try it out yet though.

War rock is stable now, if you were playing from a magazine demo CD last year they recommend downloading and reinstalling it as the old version had some bugs that couldn't be auto updated.

no, i was playing the from a download of the site. my router also stops me form playing gunz international which smells.

Yeah I can't play ijji's Gunz online either, but it seems to be something to do with most of the download coming in over some kind of file sharing system.

War Rock shouldn't be bothered by your router if you are only playing and not hosting. I know my NAT router has issues with hosting DirectX Direct Play games but im ok joining somone elses game!

I've only been on it a day or two. Origin how do I make my player tumble roll, I've seen others doing it to avoid head shots, do you know?

I hate them damn snipers!

A good friend of mine plays this,though he thinks its crap and prefers Black Hawk Down and Joint Operations,Typhoon Rising.so i'll just join him in those two games ^^

I got banned from warrock for impementing... some exploits ><. Flying a motorcycle around is quite fun though .
