I must say the game is in Spanish and the action takes place in the Mexico's City subway in the near future.

The game was developed using the DBP Engine, Newton Engine and some home made C++ dll's, unfortunately the game is going to be ported to the XNA Framework so don't wait for another update, sorry.

NOTE1: You can't quit the Intro Sequence.
NOTE2: Don't forget to beat the Final Boss at the end of the subway, you must pass through the boxes using the ceiling fan that falls down when you kill all the Biops Cocoons.
NOTE3: To move into the game menu use the arrow keys and the Enter Key.

C = Crounch

this looks very much like halflife2 @ some level contents and damn it looks like its fun!
I will definitely download the demo and post more after playing this.

EDIT: hmpf an installer..well how about just packing it in a rar file, i'm sure a lot of people would prefer that.

Sorry but everything is in spanish... but it's the typical message of copyright.

PD. Don't forget to beat the Final Boss at the end of the subway, you must pass through the boxes using the ceiling fan that falls down when you kill all the Biops Cocoons.

Ok, played the game.
@intro:
well, i didn't understand a word, but i would make the earth way bigger.
The reason why you realize the earth is so tiny is that you can see your moving speed on the basis of the particles in the space.
if you make the earth bigger and increase the distance and speed as well the particles will fly much faster and the feeling of a massive earth is perfect

@game:
great enemy models/animations and a nice interactive gameplay.
There are many features which can make the game interesting.
The music creates a good atmosphere.
BUT: I really don't like the controls.
As i played the game i didn't had the ego-shooter feeling i have in other games, i didn't have the feeling of controling the character, because his movements and the way he fires is too slow.
i would suggest to fiddle with some values.
and someway there is missing somethings, that gives me the feeling, that the weapon i carry really fires live bullets.
Maybe adding blood effects or an animation on the enemy when they get hit would change that.

In the distance i see objects popping up, maybe you should increase the camera distance or add fog.

All in all this game has the potential to get brilliant, good job!

some cc:

pros- great graphics, especially for the enemies.

lots of potential, its clear you put effort into this program, now with some extra effort you can make it much better!

cons- movement is incredibly slow and makes me feel like im wearing 200 pounds of armor or something. Make the movement and jumping speed faster.

the gun is very wimpy and makes a sound like its shooting bb pellets. Give it a nice powerful sound effect, and kick the model back to simulate recoil. Also some nice smoke/sparks on impact would be cool.

I got stuck at an energy field where i could only shoot out one panel. The other panel was under a bench, when i shot at it, it didnt break, and the last panel i couldnt find. Unintuitive gameplay puts off users (like me) who might otherwise try again.

its in spanish. include some english subtitles, or a language option.

1024x768 max res? Let us use 1280x1024!

summary-
dont be put off by all the cons i listed i'm just seeing a lot of small problems with this game that can be fixed quite easily to make it much more enjoyable.

It took forever to load, and it crashed when I tried to pause and unpause the game.

The graphics were good, but the gun was unsatisfying, and the movement was overly slow.

These complaints aside, nice work! It plays fairly well, and the enemies look great.

I'm not paranoid. Stop thinking that I'm paranoid!

@draknir:
the panel you didn't find is positioned earlier in the level, you have to go back to find it (and fight spawning enemys again and again)

Open the file "…/BIOPS 2/Configuracion/Resolucion.ini" and change to:

1280,960,32 or 1152,864,32

Those are the maximum resolutions supported by the game, be sure your graphics card supports these resolutions.

Note: The Loading Bar will be off side.

Working on.

Omega, do you have any idea what's causing my runtime error? I'd love to play this game but that's what I get. Is it possible you could just release the media without the installer?

Your signature has been erased by a mod because it was way too big.

I think the problem is caused by the .avi codecs you have, try to loading the latest avi codecs from the Microsoft webpage or the latest Windows Media Player.

Er...do you know what codecs you used to encode you videos? I'm sure whatever the latest Microsoft codecs are come with Windows update, and searching the Microsoft site for codecs doesn't help at all. It would be a lot easier if I could get the specific codec you use.
