Well ive gotten into animation and making a WIP gun a simple laser I have 2 questions

1. How do i change my muzzle flash? I made a blue one and named it flash8.dss tryed to set it in the HUD.x nothing happened

2. Whats the gun (X,Y,Z) position because it always appears in the middle

I get the first part, but the second part seemed a little short notice can you explain "mess around with the gunspec?"

the gunspec.txt file.

change the muzzleflash line under gun settings.

change the muzzleflash to 8, see if it works.

You need to include a BONE called "FIRESPOT" within your gun. This bone can be anywhere, and you can adjust the size and position within the gunspec file. To save you the trouble of making a bone, open up your HUD.X in notepad and at the very bottom of the text paste this 'code'.
