Well im going to get a new computer because myne is very small and well the disk im running animation, FPS creator, Flyff (A game) and a lot of other programs im looking for a good computer and don't know any good specs for something i need the following

- A graphics card that can support up to Halo
- Lots of disk space
- can run the computer smoothly with the programs mentioned above
- Good for gaming
- Music, Picture editing

Im looking for a Dell nothing to costly (so if your gonna go "Alien ware") yeah um got any suggestions?

buy all the parts seperatly, you can make the ultimate game machin for around £300 but you need to buy an O/S seperatly unless the hard disc comes with vista or xp free.

An Nvidia 8800 is about $500 alone. You can build an ok computer for that much, but far from an ultimate gaming rig.


Halo 1 or 2? My 3 year old machine will handle the specs you require just fine, so you're not going to have to spend a whole lot. If you need a monitor as well, Dell might be a good idea. Their budget PC prices are tough to beat.

Some of the new dell XPS models are really sweet. I don't like alienware because their cases are so bulky.

it was an ultimate game machine before they released vista, but i might of exagerated a bit, my computer was top of the range a ffew years ago when i built it and only cost me £200
