Hi all:

Just a short message to anyone interested in creating text based and other alternative game genres. I own an indie developer/ publishing house (by indie i mean indie with a capital I) dedicated to pseudo hacking simulations. Anyways hello to everyone and please do stop by my little corner on the web. www.digitaldystopia.com

Any ideas, suggestions or possible collaboration please contact me. I am testing the waters with FPSC to develop a different kind of game (little shooting involved). Something a bit more cerebral.

Cheers!

Pseudo hacking simulations are games that whilst not nessecarily realistic in terms of hacking, they usually replicate a cyberpunk style of computer systems where you have to play the role of a futuristic hacker trying to accomplish goals etc.

I thought you were first just talking about a load of "print" statements, but looking at your screenshots, they look pretty neat

Hey, don't diss the "print" command, I'm about to release a game that has over 30,000 of them. Oh, and I'm totally serious btw. It's only the coolest game ever (okay... THAT was a joke).

Dystopia: In the summer I hold a text adventure competition here on TGC (this summer will be the second-annual competition), and this year I'm planning on a few new categories. It would be awesome to get a game with your style into the sway . You might want to keep an eye out for it, there'll be an announcement here in Geek Culture followed by the main competition thread in Game Design Theory about a week or two after that. You might want to consider joining!

Welcome to TGC
