This game kicks butt. Not much more to say about that. You need a workhorse computer to get it looking tops but damn, when you have it running it is great fun! The FMV cutscenes are cheesy but in the fun campy way, with Michael "I'm David Fisher" Ironside, Sawyer from Lost, the hot Asian girl from BSG, and others.

Try out the demo for yourselves

I played the demo but I wasn't impressed enough to buy it. It's back to like Red Alert gameplay with 'improved' Generals graphics. I prefer the constuction of bases using dozers or the like rather than just droping the buildings down. It's slightly more real. It's also a bit slower which I prefer, I think CNC3 might be a faster game. Overall I just couldn't get into it.

Eh I liek the game alot because it focuses on combat more then resource management which is a big plus also the same reason I liked supreme commander. I'v finished the GDI campaign. 8 hours of game play right there =\

So they got rid of the stupid dozers?! Now I'm interested in this game!
Those stupid dozers made C&C look like AoE. That and clicking on a building instead of using a menu.

I am loving this game so far. I think the interface is more intuitive and I like the new units.

I have just finished the Croatia campaign for GDI and I found it tough. I don't think the next mission Albania is going to be any easier from the looks of it.

I particularly like how useful the APCs seem this time around for GDI. I don't remember ever using them before but now I find using them an essential strategy.
