I'm creating an FPS game about WW2.

Story:
you are a U.S marine who has been apprehended and taken into a bunker located in the outskirts of Berlin. They (The nazis) placed you inside an abnormally large bunker in which you must get out of.
the game is about 2 levels long. (but they're pretty big)

here's the checklist

My rating from the screenshots: 5/10, and a personal:

Approval page:
1. Good Scenery.
2. No lightmaps.
3. Paths look okay.
4. Needs more custom things.

What I expect to see:

1. Good darlights technology lightmapping. (Comes with 1.0.5.)
2. More custom things.
3. More detailed story.

Comments:

The corridors were nicely placed by what I saw, maybe just a teeny weeny bit of more scenery in the corners, and I hope you have some music too!

Zavix finish your other games before this you have like 3 out there and I suggest finishing them before starting another project.

I agree.Find something and stick with it.If you start a new game every week you'll be the only one with threads on the front page of the Showcase forum.
There are other developers and they would like their games up near the top of the front page.

sorry guys.

I can't control my imagination.

It keeps producing so much ideas and stuff. I sometimes get thoughts that it'll save us all someday. I don't know why but, it just happens

anyway, I got lightmaps for the level. it's the same level, only with lightmaps pasted on.

Here is a simple P&C review.
Pros:

You use the entities well, they are placed realistically; you don't just put a bunch of boxes and stuff there for no reason, you actually put the radios in the radio rooms, and proper corners, the boxes are where they really should be, and it isn't all cluttered.
However, you don't quite use enough entities. It is almost like it is abandoned. I recommend you use alot more entities, but continue your entity placement.

You use the segments well, you don't stack a bunch of walls and gantries 60 feet high for no reason, you actually build it as if it were a castle, or a fort, or a large bunker.

Cons:

Your lighting is strange, there are no sources. You use plain ambients, and that seems to be your problem. I recommend you use models for light sources, and make lights according to the light sources, and match them up.

As I said above, you place the entities well, but you don't use quite enough. Again, I recommend you place more entities, but continue placing them correctly.

There aren't enough enemies according to the screenshots. Once again, it seems like the bunker is abandoned. I recommend you place some more enemies.

Please note, this is only off of the screenshots, it could just be some screenshots that weren't taken at the right angles.

well, about level 2, I found these room segments that look like something out of an unfinished household.

these segments shall be used in level 2. along with prison cell entities that I found in the same site.

cool. i havn't been able to try the demo yet but your screenshots are good. anyways, you mentioned you cant control your imagination? do what i do and right things down in a notebook. this way you can work on one project and still be able to keep track of the other ones.

if you havent already then you should script the enemies so their main script is cover, and their shoot script is well...shoot, and so their destroy script is leave corpse. i think that would give the game a great sense of realism.but make them spawn behind boxes so they have something to cover behind. if uv already done all of this stuff then the game sounds really good. cant download now but ill do it after school. keep it up

this game has been postponed.

I have to recuperate after losing all my stuff on FPSC.

I tried getting V106 (one last time) and that didn't work.

so now that I had to uninstall FPSC to get it to work again, all my media has been erased. so now I decided to postpone this project until further notice.
