If by 'bump maps', you mean bump maps then they don't work with FPSC. If by bump maps you mean normal maps then you need to add the extension '_N' to your image.
i.e. The actual texture is: 'wall_mid_d2.tga'
The Normal map should be: 'wall_mid_N.tga'

FPSC should pick this up automatically and, providing you have full shaders switched on, you should get normal mapped walls.

Hope that helps,
AE

(I know this is completely off topic but AE are you still working on the WWII weapon pack.)

Couldn't have said it better myself

ah but the question still remains...

HOW do I make my own maps? I have Photoshop CS2, and is there a way to do it with that?

No.

Its not dead, i'm just not working on it at the moment. However, i hear Airslide is animating all the guns so far.

thats not correct... you have to specify a shader in the .FPS File

often shaders on Segments won't work this way, look in the .fx Files

to make a bumpmap shader work on segments in the fpsc, i use often _d2, _d, _n, _default_colorandalpha and _default_bump to make sure nothing is missing

but that's just the way i do it

Shaders on entities are a lot more easier to handle

eh...? im now confused... so your saying that the normal map wont work?? that must be a better texture than i thought it was then! so i have to save a copy as (if the texture is brick_wall.tga) brick_wall_d2.tga, brick_wall_d.tga, brick_wall_n.tga and brick_wall_default_bump.tga??

hum... maybe the "_d" is not important
but

_d2 `` Standard Texture
_N `` Normal/Bumpmap

the following are important for the "bumpcubereflectalpha" Shader

_default_colorandalpha `` the same as _d2
_default_bump `` the same as _N

the `` look like the escape chars in DBPro lol
