What programs are people using the customise their themes, every single one I have ever seen asks for money after while. I think it might be something more interesting when I'm doing less ram hungry stuff.

Step 1: Get a program to snap a screenie of your desktop. I use mwsnap (google it)

Step 2: Use an online file hosting service like Photobucket or something like that, and upload your picture

Step 3: Use the [ IMG] / [/img ] command to post the picture here. you put the image's URL in-between those boxes (and remove the spaces). It'll end up looking like this -

Do we really seriously need another one of these in under a weeks time?

lets say 10 ppl post 100kilobyte screens
2 newbies post 1megabyte bmps

For the sake of an argument lets say we have 3 megs of screenshots times that by 1000 views

3000 megs of bandwidth, and for what?, to show people a collection of icons? and some screen graphic that reflects onto you?

someone needs to collect them all and make use of that media somehow as either a game or graphics for computerscreens in a 3d room.

@Jon Fletcher:

It's objectDock There's both a free and commercial version. I use the free one I can't seem to enter their website right now, maybe it's down? But here's a download link:
http://www.download.com/ObjectDock/3000-2341_4-10210264.html

That is of course the free and legal version of it!

It's made by StarDock. But as I said, I wasn't able to enter their own website.

I'll post mine again from last time (although it is currently doing something and this one is actually all pink. No need to post that...). And in answer to what program everyone is using then if it isn't Windows Vista then it is probably WindowsBlinds from StarDock. Everything on mine is from StarDock. Pretty good and quite a large community of stuff to change your desktop (DesktopX widgets - see the stuff in the top right of my desktop - are pretty good additions. StarDock's ObjectDesktop plus ObjectDock plus pretty much cover everything (including bootup screens , logon screens etc)).

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Right I've found a theme that doesn't need StyleXP, its the Windows Media Center one, with the noir theme. I see someone said "I wish there was a black windows media centre theme', well this is it:

My desktop looks no different to what it did in the last thread, or the thread before that really - so meh.. not even going to go through the bother of recapturing it... if anyone really gives that much of a damn they can go and find it.
