hi i just downloaded the new darkedit and i can't run my programs in it. I opened it up and typed in some code, and it gave me an error, i don't know where i should be putting the folder or if i should just run it directly again, i'm so confused. It looks really good and i'd like to use it, i just need to know how.

Whats going on, and should i be noob slapped for this.

Hi,

You are probably getting the error because you need to save the project somewhere before running it.

go into Dark Edit and click on edit and then click on edit options, then click on the Dark Basic Options tab and set the default folder paths that you want. Don't forget to set the path for the DB.exe that is the one for Dark Basic Classic. Dark Edit needs that to run right.

Every time you start a new project you have to save it somewhere before you run it or you will get the error.

Edit: It doesn't matter where you save the project. Where ever you feel you want it is fine. That's what setting the path to the place you have all your projects is for. That way all your projects will be in 1 folder and not all over the place.
