Newcomers DBPro Corner / matedit 1.6 help

K well I just downloaded matedit from its offical site, and it was workin great, I had the textures I wanted and where t put em and everything. But when I used the grab thing to raise and lower the terain by moving the mouse, I ran into a problem. I coulpdnt get out of that mode. None of the keys worked, and clicking only made me make hills. I tried everything, but in the end I had to do Control Alt Delete, and lose all my saved work. hmf. well, if any1 has any ideas on how to do this, it would really help. Thanks in advance
