It was worth it in a way because we got to see that cool "Coming Soon" trailer at the end of Episode 6 But I'd much rather watch Doctor Who than Eurovision anytime.

Here's some stuff on the next episode (that didn't actually have a trailer due to Eurovision), the title is sort of a joke relating to 24.

*Big bump*

Anyone catch the last episode, Human Nature? Before it aired I was thinking "Meh, it'll just be an average episode" but it was great! Not only that but the next time bit at the end may bring truth to several rumours and this definately wasn't an unimportant episode

Agreed, great episode. Although i felt some bits dragged on a bit and it was slightly action lacking. Overall though, one of the best episodes so far. Makes up for the previous week's episode, which was terrible

Last weeks episode was great too. Cant fault this series so far - unlike the previous one (which was poor).

What, like the old old doctor who? I don't think you've watched the baker years then The old doctor who was up to par with the current running (albeit dated effects).

No, I was meaning the first series of David Tennant (second series of the new Dr Who), and not Patrick Troughton.

So far the 3rd series is better than the 2nd. I think Love and Monsters - and possibly Fear Her - ruined the 2nd series for me. You get the doctor fighting monstrous Oods and the beast in an action packed double episode and then it is followed by some unimportant guy who is wasting his life looking for the doctor. Then the doctor has to fight a 12 (or something like that) year old girl for the sake of a tiny col-de-sac.

I thought that the Ood episodes in the second series were a bit "off" , if you know what I mean.
Maybe the original director was on vacation?

That two-parter was a bit of a bore.

Just bought the Portuguese release of Doctor Who Series 1, Part 1 (episodes up to, and including, "The Long Game"). This will be the very first time - ever - that I'll be watching a Doctor Who series, so I am very curious.

I'll let you know what I think once I get around to watching it in the next couple of days.

For the puritans among you, don't worry, the Portuguese release is not dubbed . But I hear tell that you _will_ worry about the box saying "DR WHO" and not Doctor Who. LOL

I have vague plans for World Domination
