I searched around google and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I know there was a way to put two images together so that if you selected (highlighted) the image in IE then you would see the 2nd image instead. Unselected you would only see the 1st image. Anyone remember how to do that?

I've never seen that before... Was it done using CSS and shifting the image by 50% on ':hover'?

IE super-imposes a grid over an image when it's selected. It can be used to hide the first image while exposing the second. I saw a tutorial on it on Deviant art once.

Part of my forensics lab last week was finding passwords hidden in jpg files. Text that isn't necessarily part of the visible image itself. Last week was our discussion about "steganography" and so I wanted to share that link that BiggAdd posted.
