You Did spend some of that time Making these textures, and they Are your original work right?

I just wanted to let you ponder that before you post them here.

Im going to give you the benifit of the doubt and leave this unlocked, with the notion that youve worked very hard to produce something for the community and plan on posting it on www.filefront.com or some other similar upload service.

I got some images off my hdd and made some floor, walls and roof segments, and yes they are FPSC ready...

EDIT: I used the ground for the floor, the ww2 wall for the wall and the scifi ramp for the roof...

those immages off your harddrive need to be made by you. If you got them off other websites; you need to check if they are copyrighted, which they probably are.

Can you answer a question for me? Did YOU make the textures for the segments in this pack? Because if you didn't, and I use these in my game, I could be breaching some sort of copyright you haven't told us about. So tell the truth, did you make these textures?

I think that gravel texture in the foreground is from Dark Basic or Dark Basic Pro media bank.

He said he used TGC models. If he just puts a link to the meshbank in the fps file; but doesnt include the models it is fine.

The only problem is his textures.

I bet he didn't.
He was warned (Bullshock made a special appearance just to do so.
Maybe he is the one that busted this guy last time.)
What is the deal?Are we getting a "Pirate of the Day" thing going on here?
Especially with the way that piracy has been dealt with and the anger that forum members have expressed towards it you would think people would learn.
Looks like that minimum 1 year ban isn't enough to convince some people not to pirate stuff.
I'll let Bullshock deal with this guy.

Sorry that it has been a while... I just nkow that I did a file search and found most of these textures, I don't own any other program than FPSC or its model packs... If I haven't told you yet... This pack is for non-comercial use only...

Just random stuff off his/her HD. There culd be liscences on them that restrict usage in non-commercal games too. Best not to use these segments I reckon.

Like maybe textures from FPSC.Like the grass textures from FPSC...
You know...the stock grass texture in the WWII section.
I can verify that at least some of these textures came out of FPSC.
Of course the grass texture came out of your hard drive...
something like FPS Creator\files\texturebank\WWII...
Check 'em out yourself.
If I can tell some of the textures were ripped from FPSC anybody ought to be able to.
So the answer is no...he did not make the textures.
I am curious how you could not know that at least some of these textures are under the TGC license as you had to pull them out of the FPSC folder to use them.
The sad thing is you could have looked around and found better grass textures.
You better hope Bullshock has mercy on you...I sure wouldn't.

ok.

ive noob slapped you for 1 week. im giving you the benifit of the doubt that you didnt know what you were doing, and the only reason for a noob slap instead of a ban is because ive been there and done that when i first started out with game design, plus you were trying to help out the community, not trying to sell others work..

hopefully youve learned a lesson about licenses here today, and i trust you wouldent do it again. if you do, you WILL be banned, and for a very long time.
