in short, i request a lift that you can actually go in and its like a room segment.

in detail, i request a metal textured (i could make the texture if your no good, just give me the template) that suits both sci-fi and ww2. it should be like elevators today, how they have a room which you stand in rather than being open to the elevator tube. i do not want a door, just a gap to walk through

if you don't understand that, i want an elevator like the ones you normally use

all help would be welcome, and if anyone is good with textures.

1: not possible as you cannot enter dynamic entitys; that's why it has never been done.

2: Please read the stickys and don't request stuff.

If I'm not mistaken, rolfy made some nice elevator doors. You could create a 1x1 room with your desired texture like it's an elevator.

There are a number of ways to transport the player to another floor into a similar elevator room. Not the best choice, but doable.

Best.

I'm sorry, my answers are limited. You must ask the right question.

It just don't work.
You can get on a dynamic entity but not in one.

Of course I didn't learn this first hand until I'd made one. We kept it in the game...but hung an out of order sign on it, which fit the surroundings anyways.

I will give it a try... It will have no door on the side!

Mine didn't either, as you see above...You can get in a static entity all day but not a dynamic. Do you think people are lying to you?

You can get on a lift but not in a lift.
That is why the lift itself is a dynamic entity you can ride on and the tube (or whatever you call it is a segment.
Either way this is a request.
