There's no such thing that I'm aware of. There are 2D graphic programs, which i'm sure is what you mean't to say. A good free one is called The GIMP. Or a really good one that I use is Photoshop CS, the only problem is the price.

I think he means like...

Matt: Hi
Tom: Hello, Mat.
Matt: Let's flame.
Tom: Ok

...etc.

If you mean text-to-speech the best one I've found is Wizzard software(google it) but you have to pay for it. There is a demo but your not allowed to use it for comercial use. I've also heard of a microsoft text-to-speech software but never got round to finding it.

What exactly I mean was;

1.You walk to a person.
1.A dialog appears.
3.The person who stand in front of you is "speaking" with text.

I think `signs` has something like it, but not free.....

There is a script in there that allows you to do it.

Yes signs does it with objects like with posters... Yes it is a script feature... It is actually pretty easy to do once you read the forums around here.... I highly suggest you go into the script area and try searching for character text or character talk or ai those should point you in the right direction.

As far as waiting a month to get a program that may or may not do what you want seems like a tremendious amount of down time to me when typically you can get your answer here if you search the same day get it into a working application within your game in the same day and then get used to it within that same day....

Well best of luck if your wanting a how to tutorial Trinity has already popped you up a good link for this.

Best of luck

its called microsoft sam and can be accessed by going to the control panel then click on speech select text to speech option at the top and type in what u want sam to say.

back to topic: i like signs but the easiest way to do it is record your own voice and others and use a sound zone.

fear incarnate
