This might seem out of place in a programmers forum
, but I recently watched a japanese drama series called 'One Litre Of Tears' which I thought was excellent and am recommending to everyone
It's based on a true story and deals with the life of a 15 year old girl diagnosed with a disease meaning she gradually will lose control of her body and will not be able to walk, move, talk etc. It's a very moving series and it's great to see how she deals with her illness in such a positive way and how her family and friends support her. Has made me value my life and health a lot more.
You can watch all 14 episodes on youtube (All episodes are split into 2 parts except the first one which is split into 4). It's in japanese but subtitles are in english.
