Hi

Whenever I try to change the resolution of my game, everything gets scaled like things would look in a higher resolution. Does this maybe have anything to do with me using Windows Vista? Or is this a common problem?

Thanks!

Im sorry..... What? Thats supposed to happen. Or, does everything kind of get blurry? If thats happening, then you are using the wrong command. Please show code, and dbpro project file to accompany.

Cheers,

If I follow you correctly, that's DirectX. If you change rez you are supposed delete and reload/recreate all of your objects.

@TDK: No, I am not changing the res in game, I am using the Settings area of Project View mode. Thanks for your help though, I probably would have run into that problem later when I make my settings menu.

@DB User 2006: Well, it is a bit offset.
EDIT: I uploaded an attachment, which shows what it looks like. See how the beginning of the text is not showing.

Thanks!

To me, that look like you are using a flat screen monitor which isn't auto-adjusting when the resolution has been changed. I get that occasionally.

If so, have you tried pressing the screen's auto-adjust button?

I agree with TDK. It is only your monitor.

Ah! Fantastic, auto adjusting it works! I never thought it was that simple.

Thanks!

Your most certainly welcome. Perhaps I will add something like this (auto-adjusting) to my DAP dll.....
