Sup everyone. I'm porting my famous (well atleast in my school) SpaceCop v2.5 game to Dark Basic. It was previously in TI-83+ Basic code (which means I had something fun to do in algebra class, thank you TI). I would like some feedback on this. I cant really release any screenshots of it unless people find it a good concept. Its really only a simple shooter game (but the best one I could Program).
Please say if you would want it in DB or not, or I wont port it. Cya on the battlefield.

where is it?

telling me what code it used to be in doesn't do a lot for making think its good

you should post a link to the original game, and a link to the new version (if there is 1)

It would probably only take you an afternoon to do it in db if it was a TI proggy, those things are fun could you post a little screenshot?

I'm porting my school-written-shoulda-been-doing-homework-game to DBpro right now, it's fun

The question is not if we want it, but do you want to do it? People here will try anything you post for download if you post a screenie or two.

[edit]

If you have the pc-link cable and a ti-83 emulator it shouldn't be too hard to do a screen capture, other than that a webcam or scan of a photo of the actual calc game in action could be cool

Hehe, Cool, you could get easily get that going in the db demo no problem in an afternoon, especially if you were to use the ascii characters, but you could liven it up with sprites or even go the whole 3d route without much more effort

Ok, I made a quick port of the SpaceCop game and this is what I have so far. It currently has a nesting error at line 279. What should I do?

I've decided not to make an exact port, but a reletively new game. I will release screenshots of it whenever possible.

the nesting error means you havn't closed an IF,REPEAT,DO statement etc., or you've clode it in the wrong place, or you've tried to close one that isn't there

btw, your page has been removed for breaking the rules tuttut
