Hello folks, before I release the free model I want to see if anyone can help me resolve this issue im having. Check out the image below:

For some reason when I add light markers in FPS my models polys start to show up and the skins seem to break down?? Anyone know why this happens and how to resolve??? Please help A.S.A.P. I have 3 other free models ready for release waiting for a solution.

unfortunately I believe that can't be helped in some cases heck look at some of the packs released by TGC. The urinal is a perfect example. try dynamic vs static lighting and see if there is a differnce.

Try this idea.
Make the sink a dynamic instead of a static entity.
I know it sounds silly but that is what Bond did with some of the enitites he made for model pack 2 (like the sink in mp2 for instance).
Apparantly FPSC handles lightmapping differently on dynamic entities.
It may not work but it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot.

Awsome suggestion FredP! It works perfect now! Now that its dynamic it moves around with a player collision though. What kind of physics wieght should I put onto it so it will not move freely if the player has a collision with it?

Hello all, I took some time today to learn how to truley texture models. I was doing it all wrong by grouping my entire model together, I learned how to UV map and its made a world of diffrence for me. Check out the new sink model:

If anyone would like it please let me know and ill post it.

hey why don't you make a large pack with all your entities you've given out so people don't have to run around downloading them all separately? BTW I really like your towel cabinet

This is looking nice. Good work, and glad I could be of service. Quite frankly, I'm a milkshape noob (I frequently go crying to FredP when things won't work, but he doesn't tell anyone, cuz that would ruin my rep!).

Anyway, it's looking good man, you're doing a nice job. Let's see more!
