I heard about this earlier last week, for those that don't know, Lisa Hannigan accompanies Damien Rice in his songs and they are excellent together live, the relationship has apparently 'run its creative course' and Lisa will not be accompanying him on the rest of his tour.

I think this is a damn shame, i have a gig of his in October and Lisa was one of the reasons i was looking forward to it, she is an amazing singer and i think they work really well together.

And for those that have never listened to him, i suggest you check him out, possibly one of the greatest singer/songwriters of this time.

-Cheers

That is a shame, she is a good singer, but Damien Rice does quite well as a Solo, we'll make do.

I liked 'Unplayed Piano' but apart from that never been that keen on his music. The more upbeat version of Cannonball was quite good.
