This is my latest game that will probably not materialise, but It's good to show off FPSC and Gimp.
It's basically a game telling you about the death of a man who works as a mercanary for the government, except kills all the witnesses, as the cases are deemed too gruesome for the public to know. Will post more screens soon.

Changing your crosshair might not be a bad idea either.
There are a variety available on the Models and Media forum.
That last room (in the last two shots) is a bit too dark and something appears to be wrong with the fridge...or maybe that's just me.
Not bad looking though.

Yep, there is something wrong with the fridge, all the textures seemed to have gone wrong since I went to V1.05, but in time I will get all the textures back to normal again. And I will change the ambient light levels a bit. I will look at changing crosshairs as well

Thanks, I was trying to go with a FEAR theme, but without horror, but similar visuals.

You will also be glad to know that I've decided on a new visual theme, instead of the wind+blue filters. I will post a screen with the new one one it.

I didn't do anything, except I used fog in the level, the jpeg wasn't very good quality though so I did blur it a bit to make it look less pixelated, other than that, no filters at all.

Here is a new screenshot of the nightclub level. Basically, you drop a light on some guys head. Heres the ext. screenshot. Only problem is that the arrow on the road is casting a shadow, which makes it just slightloy unrealistic, and the green crid will be removed when I can find a good street picture.

I think the black and blue thing was cool.

Nice screenies. I'm in the process of making a game right now that almost seems like the same genera as yours.

Yeah, I'd go ahead and change the crosshair.

Here is the next screenshot of the nightclub upstairs. It's got a good framerate, even though everything there is a dynamic entity.
There is a fight up here, but you've already used all your ammo to get in, so you end up throwing these boxes at the guard to kill him, then take his gun. How original

if everything in there is dynamic, how does the guitar have a shadow?

Sorry. Everything will be a dynamic entity. I had trouble making the guitar stand up in that position, so ended up making the guitar and the door in the right foreground static for the sake of the screenshot. Apologies for misleading you there.

Right. Time for the update. I am planning to release a gameplay vid onto youtube once I get an account set up, then I will do a trailer. I have got some new crosshairs for the guns. I have also added xplosys's new shop feature, in the form of a 'radio shack' with loads of guns + secret unlockable areas inside it. Could anyone possibly suggest an storyline for the final level. Here is the basic one. Spoilers below so stop reading if you're thinking of downloading.

<<<SPOILERS>>>

It takes place in a forest (game dev's nightmare, I know, but I like a challenge) after a big car chase out of the city, when you botch the job, got to think how I'm going to FMV that!!! The target crashes into some trees and begins to run. You then end up chasing him through the woods, and eventually confronting him in a coal mine, opening up possibilities for loads of different places.

<<<end of spoilers>>>

But that's all I've got. I'm not bothered if the woods are in it or not, but it'd be a good end to the game seeing someone get his punishment. Suggestions appreciated
