My dad just bought an 80 gig iPod that hes going to be using for production/performance. We're having a LOT of problems getting the files from itunes onto the ipod. We're using MP4 format and the files are marked as 168 kbps bitrate.

He ripped the files from a DVD and has a conversion tool to convert the .vob files into practically any format along with custom everything We tried .avi and a few other popular formats but since niether of us have had any experiance with video ipods we arnt really sure what we're doing wrong.

Any healp would be GREAT!!

Thanks in advance!

If the vids have been imported into iTunes you should be able to right click them and see an option that says 'Convert Selection for iPod.' Give it a click and everything should be sorted.

I use handbrake to rip dvd's to .mp4 and they work for me. Hopefully ye olde right click will work for ya.
